He just gutted the bill, and amended it into a gun ban bill with an inaccurate title. <BR/><BR/>Senator Tony Fulton said Ashford did this right when Fulton had just been appointed by the Gov to replace Foley, and Fulton was the only one to argue against it. Apparently, the fix was already in, and the rest of the legislature had already done a wink and nod deal to let this pass undebated, in exchange for Ashford letting the CCW law proceed to a vote. <BR/><BR/>Fulton didn't know about this dirty deal, having just got there, and was wondering why no one else would oppose it in floor debate, not even the other supposedly "pro-gun" members.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5561206234016063036.post-66989451346444450152008-04-24T07:16:00.000-05:002008-04-24T07:16:00.000-05:00But but it will be the end of the world!!!
