Sure.... Now that I'm, 6 days (Saturday....) into the JOGI, I see this on the Shooting Wire this a.m.:
Shooting Illustrated, NRA's newsstand monthly, is looking for an avid shooter and self-defense enthusiast with writing and editing experience to join the magazine's staff as Associate Editor. This is not a telecommute position and it's based out of NRA's headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia.
*sigh*

It's not too late...sieze the day!
the grass is always greener...
just like buying 10 lbs of ground beef on Monday for $3.00 bucks a pound the next day it's on sale for $1.25 sheesh....What is the shortest amount of time you have worked for a company?
If it is something that you want to do and there is no major roadblocks you have to go for it. The best move I have made in a long time was moving the family and I from Wichita. I saw a position I wanted, applied, and moved. Haven't regreted it. The wife even got herself a better job here that she loves.
That is The Number One Problem with the NRA: they have all their power/money/influence in the DC area, yet claim to be a national organization............ This ain't the United States of Washington DC. If their reps (I'm talkin' about YOU, Jordan Austin!) spent more time IN America, instead of flying over it, mayhaps we'd get more bang for our buck! You maybe oughta get out of your Ivory Towers and get your legal beagles to working on laws that threaten the RTKBA, instead of financing the airline industry.... (rant off).
